The supremely adaptable Forum space has a 14-foot–high, barrel-vaulted ceiling, a sprung dance floor, capability for theatrical lighting and sound, complete audio-video-internet readiness (complete with a Boston studio/concert upright piano), adjacent catering kitchen, and its own dedicated lobby, restrooms and coat check, making it ideal for multiple types of functions, from intimate performances to elegant gala celebrations.

Much needed in downtown D.C., an available small conference room! Ideal for the small not-for-profit or sole-proprietorship that only occasionally needs conference space. Equipped with three tables for custom configuration, 18 rolling conference chairs, a hospitality bar and fully wired for A/V and teleconferencing.

The Forum Conference Room also features classic theatrical caricature art adorning the walls, including an original Al Hirschfeld illustration of Artistic Director, Michael Kahn.

One of the most elegantly beautiful spaces in the District, the Patrons Lounge is available only to donors of the Shakespeare Theatre Company at the Harman Center for the Arts. This space has a programmable, flat screen TV; a moveable marble and cherry service bar; its own staging kitchen; a permanently mounted projector and 9-by-12 motorized screen. The Lounge is completely wired for A/V and teleconferencing. The exquisite furnishings are designed by Apartment Zero, while the custom-loomed rug was designed by LuLu dK and given to the center by Elson and Company of Washington, D.C.  When not in use on stage, the Steinway nine-foot concert grand can be found in the Patrons Lounge.

SIDNEY HARMAN HALL LOBBY SPACES

These are the WOW spaces in D.C. From the hand-troweled Venetian plaster walls to the glass façade that floats above the cityscape, these beautifully imagined, multi-story bays offer a variety of stunning settings for gatherings and celebrations. Available together—consider cocktails on the Orchestra, seated dinner on the Mezzanine, and then back to the Orchestra for dancing and dessert! Or use just one level and make it your very own. These spaces are great for breakfast confabs, luncheon networking sessions, and evening receptions and dinners. Each level has a built-in bar, two flat screen, programmable TVs, and simply elegant furnishings selected by Apartment Zero.

This intimate, elegant space is a favorite among many in D.C. With very little added decoration, you can host a warm and inviting event in the Michael R. Klein Theatre Lobby.  Equipped with a service bar, coat check, a registration area and dedicated restrooms, this space can be adapted for breakfasts, luncheons, receptions, dinners and corporate presentations.
