When there is an event at the Verizon Center (at 7th and G Streets NW), traffic is heavier and parking is harder to find. See what’s going on at the Verizon Center.

Everyone is encouraged to use Metro and other forms of public transportation. Riding Metro is the best option for hassle-free transport.

Check for D.C. street closings and traffic issues.

From Baltimore, Laurel, Columbia:

From MD-295 (Balt-Wash Highway) or I-95:
Merge onto US-50/New York Avenue NE toward Washington. Keep right at the fork to go onto New York Avenue. After 5 miles, turn left onto 6th Street NW/US-1/US-50. Turn right onto E Street NW.

To the Michael R. Klein Theatre:
For the Colonial Parking Garage, continue on E Street NW and turn left on 8th Street NW. The garage will be to your left. To use the PMI Parking Garage, make a left onto 7th Street NW, and a right onto D Street NW. The garage will be a block and a half up to your right.

To Sidney Harman Hall:
The LAZ garage entrance will be on your right, on E Street NW between 7th and 6th Streets NW.

From Virginia

Via I-395
Remain on I-395 North into the District of Columbia, crossing into the city on the 14th Street Bridge. At Pennsylvania Avenue NW (at approximately the 4th stoplight), turn right. You will then be driving east toward the U.S. Capitol. Turn left at the stoplight at 7th Street NW. Go north on 7th Street NW.Via I-66
Remain on I-66 into the District of Columbia, crossing into the city on the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge, which becomes Constitution Avenue. Remain on Constitution Avenue until you reach 7th Street NW. Turn left at the stoplight at 7th Street NW.

To the Michael R. Klein Theatre:
Turn left on D Street NW. To use Colonial Parking Garage, turn right onto 8th Street NW, and the garage will be halfway up the block on your right. To use PMI Parking Garage, continue on D Street NW past 8th Street NW, and the garage will be on your right.

To Sidney Harman Hall:
Turn right on F Street NW. The garage entrance will be on your right.h3>>FROM ANNAPOLIS, PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTYMerge onto US-50 W/New York Avenue NE toward Washington. After about 5 miles, turn left onto 6th Street NW/US-1/US-50. Turn right onto E Street NW.To the Michael R. Klein Theatre:

From Potomac, Bethesda, Rockville

Get onto Wisconsin Ave., NW via I-270 and River Rd. or Rockville Pike (MD-355), which becomes Wisconsin Avenue. Remain on Wisconsin Avenue. Turn left onto Garfield Street one block after the National Cathedral. Turn right onto Massachusetts Avenue NW. Remain on Massachusetts Avenue until you reach 9th Street NW (you will pass through two circles and one tunnel). Turn right onto 9th Street NW (one way).

To the Michael R. Klein Theatre:
Stay in the left lane on 9th Stree NW. Make a left onto E Street NW and a right onto 8th Street NW. Turn left halfway down the block for the Colonial Parking Garage. Continue down 8th Street NW and turn right onto D Street NW to use the PMI Parking Garage (located on the right).

To Sidney Harman Hall:
Stay in the left lane on 9th Street NW. Turn left on F Street NW and drive two blocks, crossing 7th Street NW. The LAZ garage entrance will be on your right.

To the Michael R. Klein Theatre:

Archives-Navy Memorial-Penn Quarter station on the Yellow/Green
lines: Walk 2 blocks north on 7th Street NW, uphill and away from the National Mall.

Gallery Pl-Chinatown station on the Red/Green/Yellow lines:
Use the Arena/7th Street NW exit and walk two blocks down 7th Street NW, downhill and towards the National Mall.

To Sidney Harman Hall:

Gallery Pl-Chinatown Gallery Pl-Chinatown station on the
Red/Green/Yellow lines: Use the Arena/7th Street NW exit. Sidney Harman Hall is visible one block to your left.

Judiciary Square station on the Red line: use the F Street NW exit to the National Building Museum, turn left and walk 1½ blocks along F Street NW to 6th Street NW.

Clothing, jewelry, cards, art, books and much more, including one-of-a-kind specialty items, are available in our lobby gift shops at the Michael R. Klein Theatre and Sidney Harman Hall.

The gift shop at Sidney Harman Hall is open from 10a.m.-6p.m. Monday through Friday, as well as before performances and during intermission. The Michael R. Klein Theatre gift shop is open before performances and during intermission to patrons with tickets to that performance.
